Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
Strategic work:
- Understand the fundamental drivers of Spektra, and the business of our (potential) customers, partners, and competitors, in order to make wise decisions and pursue long-term value.
- Assess opportunities for the potential to create long-term value, determine the paths available for the pursuit, and assess the trade-offs and risks associated with each path
- Constant evaluation of the best path to create long-term value for the company
- Strategize and determine the company’s approach to digital marketing with respect to the brand, channels, timing and content
- Develop strategies to motivate, monitor and evaluate business development team
- Lead the customer-centric client management campaign
Tactical work:
- Find new customers by determining where new customers “live” (both geographically and in terms of “buying mindset“) and find ways to effectively reach them.
- Extract more value from current customers ensuring that they experience the Spektra brand commitment
- Build and leverage relationships with partners, customers, colleagues, and even the media to facilitate opportunities.
- Navigate through targeted organizations; identify decision-makers, uncover their unmet needs, and concisely demonstrating the value of what Spektra can offer.
- Must have thorough knowledge of the company's competitors and the marketplace
- Craft proposals, and make presentations
- Review contracts with potential new clients
- Set up a business development team
- Design and deliver training to business developers and junior sales teams within your organization
- Ensure the excellent implementation of the Spektra brand establishment and client experience system and processes
- See to welfare of your immediate subordinates (know the place of residence, represent the company on his/her personal events, visit when hospitalized, etc.)
Standards:
Position specific:
- Present monthly total business development report and Key Strategic Indicators to management by the 5 th day of the month
- All client emails must be responded to within 24hours
- All data must be updated on the CRM within 24hours
- Hold weekly team meetings to plan and direct targets and plan for the week (Mondays) and review the weeks work (Fridays)
- Send monthly communiqué to all clients and prospects by 1 st day of the month
- Prepare a list and send requisition for client engagement by the 25th day of the month
- Monthly training of BD team
Qualification and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
- 5 years experience in sales, marketing or related field within the real estate industry.
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional certification in Marketing is a plus
